Register for National Safe Sedation (NSS) course

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS:

Please do not attend the meeting if you are unwell (apart from the classic triad of fever, cough and loss of taste/smell be aware that vaccinated people more often present with runny nose, headache, sneezing and sore throat).

The National Safe Sedation course will have the following measures in place to keep all attendees and the faculty as safe as possible:

    • easy access to handwashing facilities and hand sanitiser
    • well ventilated rooms (please bring warm clothing)
    • CO2 monitoring
    • paper and biros for notes and the MCQ will not be provided

IMPORTANT:

  • the registration fee for doctors of all grades is £300 (Early Bird offer of £250 available up to six weeks before each course)
  • the registration fee for all other healthcare professionals is £75
  • the registration fee for all other healthcare professionals from the independent sector is £150
  • payment will be taken before confirmation of your place on the course
  • this will usually be within 72 hours
  • if you do not fulfil the criteria for attending the NSS course you will be refunded promptly
  • if you fulfil the criteria for attending the NSS course you will be sent login details to access the mandatory e-learning, which must be completed before attending the course and will take about 6 hours
